The scientists, Jules S. Jaffe, Andrew Mullen, Tali Treibitz and Paul L. D. Roberts, from the Scripps Institution of Oceanography at the University of California San Diego have designed and built microscope for millimeter-scale study of a natural processes taking place in sea.
