Identification field guide of the Barents Sea Fishes was published at the end of 2016. The author – professor Andrey V. Dolgov, Knipovich Polar Research Institute of Marine Fisheries and Oceanography (PINRO). The Barents Sea fish field guide will be used on fishing boats for more accurate monitoring of rare species that are met during trawl fisheries. Distinctive signs of 55 fish species from 20 families and the data about their distribution are presented in this field guide.
