LIFE Platform meeting on restoration of sand dune habitats
More than 80 participants from 13 countries gathered in Zandvoort, the Netherlands, from 15 to 17 June 2016 to discuss ways to improve the favourable conservation status of coastal and inland dunes as part of the Natura 2000 Biogeographical Process.
Implementing ecosystem restoration and green infrastructure in Europe
ECNC and our Network partner University of Antwerp presented ongoing work at a meeting of the European Commission Working Group on Green Infrastructure and Restoration on 13 June 2016.
Food and health at Tilburg Nature Market 2016
Tilburg Biodiversity Platform, in which ECNC is a partner, organized the 6th annual Nature Market on Sunday 29 May. This year’s theme was food and health.
Nature supports Europe’s sustainable cities
The EU conference, held as part of the Dutch EU Presidency in Utrecht on 31 May 2016, focused on how evidence supports policy for sustainable cities and what tools are available to help cities in this process.
Healthy Seas exhibition: fashion with an environmental conscience
MEDASSET, with the support of the Representation of the EC in Greece, is holding the fashion exhibition “Healthy Seas: A Journey from Waste to Wear” at Golden Hall shopping center in Greece from 6 June to 6 July.
European Ecosystem Services Conference – Helping nature to help us

The conference is organized by the research projects OPERAs, OpenNESS, and ECOPLAN and the Ecosystem Services Partnership (ESP).
